Blue Jean Skirt Apron
I'm in the GIBBS Swap on the Provo Craft message board. I wanted to make my partner an apron made out of Levis. I googled the directions bought the jeans for a $1 and I was on my way. Sometimes things don't turn out as planned so I was off to Goodwill again. This time I found a jean skirt I could make into an apron and it worked like a charm. Here are some pictures of it. Kala loves purple so I used a purple velvet trim and put on a ruffle.
I also found a half apron at Goodwill that would work perfect for me. I usually stand while I work and having the extra pockets is awesome. I jazzed my apron up too!

Latest Goodwill find for Craft Room
I was at Goodwill the other day and found a stationary rack for cards that is so cool. It has 4 sides and turns like a lazy susan for $30. It holds cards, paper, embellishments, you name it. I have just started trying to organize cards and embellishments on it. I am so excited about it. The best thing is that it's vertical and doesn't take up much space. Thank you to Carol's Rose Garden for donating it to Goodwill.

Another Goodwill find
I was at Goodwill yesterday and found a 2 tier wrought iron stand for my craft room. I have been looking for one of these for months. Thought I would clean up my creative clutter and show you where I work. The stand only cost me $3.

All Cart Handbooks are hanging!! woo hoo
I am so stinkin excited I can't stand it. This morning while shopping at Goodwill I found a turn thingy. A few weeks ago I won Jenninstl's left over bags and pink card stock after she reorganized her carts. I loved how she redid her carts and wanted to do the same. I knew a Clip It would have to wait awhile. I was at my favorite Goodwill in St Louis today and found a turn thingy just like a Clip It. The black clips were from a previous project in my craft room and they worked perfect. The final cost $4.

Gibbs Swap Challenge
This is a a little peek of projects I've completed for the GIBBS swap. We had a challenge to start and complete projects within a timeframe. I am posting pictures of 3 projects I completed during the challenge time. Woot Woot I have 3 more projects to go, then I am finished and get to ship my box. I can't wait to ship my box. I am hoping to get everything finished in the next few days.
I'm having surgery on my foot to have some of the hardware taken out. I had reconstructive foot surgery in December and now have to get 2 screws taken out. I won't be able to put any weight on my foot so that makes getting to my craft room difficult. Trust me my mother won't help me get to my craft room. Last time my dinning room looked like a Micheals bomb went off. My mother was not happy. LOL

Otto & Emma had a party with my Cartridges
In May I went to a SWARM in Branson with some of the GIBBS girls. While I was gone my mother dog sat for me. Otto and Emma love my mom. I won't tell a long story the pictures say it all. While I drove my mom home the dogs decided to have a party with all my cricut carts, 42 of them. They shredded the bag I had them in, chew up a couple of boxes. They were just beginning to go for the books when I got home. Needless to say they were in the dog house. I was so PO'ed I couldn't see straight. LOL Wasn't laughing that night cleaning up the mess. I'm having problems getting the pictures downloaded. I will work on getting them posted.

Happy Crafting Day
A big thank you to everyone who left such wonderful comments on my blog. It was so nice of you and I really appreciate the feedback. I have a friend that wants me to make her a Monopoly purse. I'll post pictures when I get that finished. This is so much fun. Some days I feel like I'm back in Kindergarden playing with finger paints again.
I took a big risk and posted my purse to the Provo Craft Message Board today. Since I've never been able to post pictures I haven't posted anything before. That is why I started my blog. Funny how things happen.

Added bling to my Scrabble purse
A long time a go I bought a box of old B & W photo's with vintage postcards on Craigslist. I pulled a photo from the 1950's and used Stickles and wrote Scrabble Champs on it and put Prima flowers around it. I personal love stickles and put stickles on the flowers too. LOL And I added Art Girl with Scrabble tiles. The ladies at Goodwill just love my purse.

Another $4 Goodwill find
I found this Secretary box and just fell in love with it. I just knew I would throw some mod podge on it. Here is the finished project. I used vintage wall paper. Tammy White and her mother were very kind to share with us in Branson. I was lucky to have picked up a few sheets.
Scrabble Game Board Purse
Here is a purse I picked up at Goodwill for $4. It was made in 1963 by a lady in TX and it had a big green Turtle with do dads on it. I striped a scrabble game board and mod podged it to the wooden box. It was so much fun to make.
