Additional pictures of the album

A peek at the album I made for a swap

I had so much fun making this album. Hope my partner Michelle enjoys it. The album is for Becca's Vintage Album Swap on the Cricut Message Board. I used my Cricut Expressions to make all the cuts.

Otto and Emma

While I was out at Physical Therapy on Thursday Otto and Emma had a paper party. Now I know they don't like rain and storms but they took the cake this time. Couldn't believe what I walked into. They completely tore up the box my Gibbs swap was sent it and flipped booked off the book case. I think I see crates in the future for these two. LOL

My first Cricut Cake

Oh my gosh I decorated my first Cricut Cake! I am so excited and it wasn't that hard. Yes there is a learning curve but it is fun. I am a cancer survivor so I thought I would use the Pink Journey cartridge for my first cake. The dress, hat, and flowers are from the Forever Young Cartridge. Hope you like the cake, more to come later.

Kala's Apron

I added flowers and Kala's initial to her apron. I ironed fabric to fusible webbing and then but it on my Cricut Expressions cutting mat. It cut like a dream. All I had to do after cutting out the images was iron the fabric down on the apron. Too much fun!!

PS Cricut Cookie

I frosted the crown cookie and ate it before taking a picture of it decorated. LOL I was hungry. But you can tell from the pre decorated state it looked a little sad to begin with. It did taste very good with the fudge frosting. LOL

Cricut Cake Machine

Well, I am going to have a lot of fun with my new Cake Machine. Lots of pieces to keep track of that the paper Cricut doesn't have. There is a learning curve to it but I don't think I did too bad for my first try at it. I had to put the cookie dough in the freezer in order to cut it. Not too bad for my first try at it. Here are some pictures. I'm going to buy some frosting today and decorate a real cake later today.

Cricut Cake Machine

My friend and I traded machines and I got a cake machine this week!! I am so excided about it. Here are so pictures before I start my first project with the cake machine. I'm going to make sugar cookies with Pillsbury dough. I also bought an angel food cake to decorate. I was at Michaels yesterday and met a lady in the cake department who gave me very good tips. So I can't wait to get started.

Wall Accents from Target

I found a set of wall accents from Target the other day at Goodwill. They were only a $1 so I had to try them out. My picture doesn't do them justice but they are very nice. The accents are made out of temporary vinyl just like the cricut vinyl.

Reorganizing craft room

Yesterday I moved the GW version of the Clip It Up to the shelf above my Cricut. It fit perfectly so I started cleaning and putting things away. Now I can get to my Cricut and have space to work. Also easy access to the cartridge books, overlays and cartridges. I just love it. My cleaning spree isn't over, there is more to clean!

New Craft Apron

Here are pictures of my new craft apron that I jazzed up for myself. I'm so excited to have one.

Blue Jean Skirt Apron

I'm in the GIBBS Swap on the Provo Craft message board. I wanted to make my partner an apron made out of Levis. I googled the directions bought the jeans for a $1 and I was on my way. Sometimes things don't turn out as planned so I was off to Goodwill again. This time I found a jean skirt I could make into an apron and it worked like a charm. Here are some pictures of it. Kala loves purple so I used a purple velvet trim and put on a ruffle.

I also found a half apron at Goodwill that would work perfect for me. I usually stand while I work and having the extra pockets is awesome. I jazzed my apron up too!

Latest Goodwill find for Craft Room

I was at Goodwill the other day and found a stationary rack for cards that is so cool. It has 4 sides and turns like a lazy susan for $30. It holds cards, paper, embellishments, you name it. I have just started trying to organize cards and embellishments on it. I am so excited about it. The best thing is that it's vertical and doesn't take up much space. Thank you to Carol's Rose Garden for donating it to Goodwill.
