I was in a swap on the Provo Craft Message Board. It's theme was red, white and blue. I was bad and didn't take pictures of what I sent. Here is what my partner sent me. Can I say I was spoiled?? Tracy really did such a wonderful job on this swap. I just love everything she sent me. When I opened the box the first thing I went for was the Twizzlers, my favorite candy.

Crayola Roll for Prism Markers

I made a crayola roll for my prima and glitter pens. It took me all of 15 minutes to put it together. I think it turned out pretty cute. Can't wait to make on for my watercolor pencils.

Cigar box purse
I used Graphic 45 paper to make this cigar box purse. Very easy, just mod podged the paper on the box and added the handle. One thing I used on this is Mod Podge "Sparkle". Boy does it sparkle. LOL I just noticed after I posted the pictures that I forgot to add the seashells to the front of the box. I'll add them and update the post.
Vintage Mailbox
I decided to make a mod podged mailbox with a vintage feel to it. I found vintage sewing pattern paper at Tuesday Morning for $1.99. Always excited to get paper that cheap. LOL I made rosettes and stick pins for the front of the box. I added buttons, rick rack and tulle to it. Hope you like it.

Easter Basket Project for The Collectors Cut Blog
I made an Easter Basket using the Songbird and George Cartridges. I welded 4 fences from Songbird to a square from George. I put stickles and liquid pearls in it. Wouldn't we all love to see those in our baskets. LOL

Stampin Up Scallop Punch Flowers
I was watching You Tube videos (I'm addicted to them) today. I apologize for not getting the persons name that shared this technique. She took 8 scallop circles, sprayed water on them. scrunched them up like a spit ball. We all know the kids that did that in school. I was not one of them. Then you punch a hole in the center either with a crop a dial or a paper piercer. Then put a brad in the center and slowly shape your flower. My two examples are made with a sewing pattern tissue paper and Stampin Up card stock.

Goodwill find you won't believe!

I went to my local Goodwill yesterday. Much to my surprise I found a brand new Cricut Expressions machine for $34. It was still on the cart they use to bring new items to the sales floor. I didn't have a shopping cart and hauled it to the front of the store to get one. They had just received a new shipment from Target. Goodwill had other crafting items as well. I can't believe I have a green cricut plus 2 new cartridges I didn't have. The funny thing is I need a new blade housing unit and those cost $30 so I got a new blade unit plus a new machine. LOL

Collectors Cut Blog Project

This is my Collectors Cut Blog project for the week. My cuts are from the Easter 2010 Cartridge. I cut out a large scalloped egg then I put multiple pieces of paper on my mat to make the inside egg. Worked like a dream. It was the first time I tried cutting multiple pieces of paper for one image. Then I cut out spring. I used a vintage image for the center and stickled that and put a crepe paper ruffle behind it. And of course it wasn't finished without adding bling. LOL

Work in Progress LOL
I'm making this for a swap I'm in. The end result will be a beach theme cigar box purse. Not quite there yet but making progress. Still need to add the sea shells and more travel labels to the box. Oh almost forgot need to drill holes for the purse handles. LOL Me and the mod podge were not getting along today. LOL I still think it needs another coat. We will see.
Cricut Challenge Blog project
This week I made a coupon organizer from a file folder. I watched several You Tube video's and found one I really liked. The project took 1 file folder, card stock and embellishments. It was a lot of fun to make. I keep my grocery and craft coupons in it and lists of things to do. Since I've been using it I have felt more organized. woo hoo
